Snapmaker U1 Textured PEI Steel Build Plate
The genuine Snapmaker U1 textured PEI steel build plate delivers reliable first-layer adhesion and a finely textured finish on the underside of printed parts. Its flexible steel design makes prints easier to remove after the plate cools.

For PETG, PC, PA, ABS and ASA, Snapmaker recommends a glue stick or liquid glue. Glue assists adhesion and also acts as a release layer to help protect the PEI surface during part removal.
Care & Maintenance
- Clean fingerprints, dust and oils with warm water and dish soap to maintain first-layer adhesion.
- Allow prints to cool to room temperature before gently flexing the plate to remove them.
- If a print is especially difficult to remove, Snapmaker suggests applying alcohol around the contact area to help release it; do not pry forcefully.
