We do our best to ship all orders within 24-48 hours of placement, Monday to Friday, excluding Alberta holidays. Cutoff for shipping out the same day is 11:00am MST (GMT-7). FedEx Ground requires 1 day advance notice for pickups.
Orders over a certain dollar threshold will only be shipped to the billing address on file with your credit card company. If you require your order to be shipped to a different address, please add the address to your profile with your credit card company.

Shipping costs on our site are real time quotes from the three carriers we use and are very accurate to what we actually pay to have the parcels shipped. We have spent a lot of time entering actual shipping dimensions and weights for every product. These costs are beyond our control, however we do offer a free shipping option when your order exceeds $140 before taxes.
The carriers base shipping costs using dimensional weight calculations. This is why adding one spool of filament looks like a high shipping charge, depending on where you are shipping to. If you added spools one by one, the shipping cost doesn’t go up very much even though the size and weight has doubled or even tripled. This is why it isn’t usually an accurate way of comparing shipping costs by adding only one item to the cart and checking shipping rates. The best thing to do would be to add everything you would like to order and compare shipping costs then.
Remember, any orders over $140 offers the choice of free shipping via Canada Post.

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
Returned items due to non-delivery (wrong address supplied by customer or customer unavailable after delivery attempts made) may be refunded or resent to the proper address. Spool3D is not responsible for refunding the initial shipping costs or the shipping costs associated with returning and reshipping the purchase. Purchase can be reshipped once new shipping costs are paid.
We also offer lettermail shipping by Canada Post for orders below Canada Post's size and weight thresholds. Lettermail does not have a tracking number and therefore cannot be traced or insured. Shipping by lettermail is limited to $20 or less purchases and is done at the sole discretion of the purchaser.
We reserve the right to use any shipping company if cost analysis proves too expensive.

You may return most new, unused items within 30 days of shipment for a full refund on the cost of goods (some forms of payment may require a restocking fee of 15%). Shipping cannot be refunded. Returned filament must still be vacuum-sealed. Resin needs to be unopened. Electronics must be in unopened original packaging. 3D printers must not be used. We are not responsible for damage to electronics from improper connections. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect item). A fee will also be removed from original payment if free shipping was used for delivery.
Please note that, although every effort is made to photograph our items accurately we cannot guarantee every computer monitor will accurately depict the actual colour of the products, however, all product photos are taken under the same lighting conditions. If multiple boxes of one colour is ordered we cannot guarantee lot numbers will be the same, although every effort is made to make sure you receive the same colour lot.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
Warranties are honoured by sending parts to be replaced by the end user for our customers who are unable to drop off warranty parts directly at our storefront. Unfortuntely, we are unable to cover shipping costs for warranty claims on printers that require repair. If you are unable to repair the printer with warranty parts yourself, please find a local technician in your area.
