Description

The Prusa CORE One L+ is a fully enclosed large-format CoreXY 3D printer with a 300 × 300 × 330 mm build volume, active convection chamber heating up to 60°C, automatic Load Cell calibration, high-flow Nextruder and an all-aluminum dual-loop AC heatbed. Designed for large prototypes, functional parts, engineering materials and production work, the CORE One L+ delivers nearly 30 litres of build volume in a compact, workshop-ready machine.

Prusa CORE One L+ 3D Printer

Think big. Print bigger.

The Prusa CORE One L+ takes the proven enclosed CoreXY platform into large-format territory with a spacious 300 × 300 × 330 mm build area and 29.7-litre print volume.

It provides roughly twice the print volume of the CORE One+ while retaining a relatively compact desktop footprint. Large prototypes, cosplay parts, manufacturing fixtures and functional engineering components can be printed as complete parts instead of being divided and assembled afterwards.

Large 300 × 300 × 330 mm Build Volume

The CORE One L+ provides nearly 30 litres of usable build space, giving you room for large parts without moving to an oversized industrial machine.

Large-format applications include:

  • Engineering and replacement parts
  • Jigs, fixtures and manufacturing tools
  • Large prototypes
  • Architectural models
  • Cosplay helmets and props
  • Flexible TPU components
  • RC and robotics parts
  • Production batches
  • Carbon-fibre reinforced components

Prusa specifically designed the heatbed and chamber around large objects, where inconsistent temperatures can otherwise cause corners to lift and parts to warp.

Active 60°C Heated Chamber

Unlike the smaller CORE One+, the CORE One L+ uses active convection chamber heating.

Two fans beneath the heatbed circulate air across the heated aluminum surface, allowing the enclosed chamber to reach up to 60°C. This controlled environment improves layer bonding and dimensional stability when printing temperature-sensitive engineering materials such as ABS, ASA, polycarbonate and nylon.

Temperature Maximum
Standard nozzle 290°C
Optional HT Hotend 400°C
Heatbed 120°C
Heated chamber 60°C

All-Aluminum Dual-Loop AC Heatbed

Large-format printing places much greater demands on heat distribution.

The CORE One L+ uses a heavy all-aluminum AC heatbed with dual-loop heating to maintain consistent temperatures across the build surface. Prusa specifies less than 2°C variation across 99% of the heatbed surface.

The result is more consistent first-layer adhesion across large parts and a reduced tendency for corners to warp or lift.

High-Speed CoreXY Motion System

The CORE One L+ uses a CoreXY architecture with stationary motors and a lightweight moving toolhead. This enables rapid movement while minimizing moving mass.

Input Shaper and Phase Stepping help compensate for mechanical vibration, while travel speeds can reach up to 500 mm/s. A high-flow nozzle helps maintain extrusion performance at higher printing speeds.

Nextruder Direct Drive Extrusion

Prusa's Nextruder uses a direct-drive system with a 10:1 planetary gearbox, giving it controlled filament feeding across both rigid and flexible materials.

The all-metal filament path and quick-swap nozzle system make the printer suitable for everything from standard PLA to flexible TPU and reinforced engineering materials.

The CORE One L+ includes:

  • 0.4 mm Prusa Brass High-Flow CHT nozzle installed
  • 0.4 mm abrasive-resistant nozzle included for filled and reinforced filaments

Automatic First Layer Calibration

A high-precision Load Cell sensor integrated into the Nextruder allows the nozzle itself to detect the print surface.

Mesh bed leveling is performed automatically over the actual print area, eliminating manual Z-offset adjustment and helping deliver a consistent first layer.

GT1.5 Belts for Smoother Surfaces

The upgraded CORE One L+ uses GT1.5 belts.

Their finer tooth pitch makes repeating motion artifacts smaller and less noticeable, particularly on the large smooth walls where subtle surface patterns are easiest to see.

Integrated Nozzle Wiper

Before a print begins, the integrated nozzle wiper removes loose filament and small blobs from the nozzle.

This helps produce cleaner print starts and reduces the chance of debris interfering with automatic probing or the first layer.

Automatic Chamber Ventilation

The printer automatically adjusts ventilation based on the filament being used.

For lower-temperature materials such as PLA and PETG, the top chamber vent automatically opens. For higher-temperature engineering materials, it remains closed to maintain chamber temperature.

Print More Engineering Materials

The standard CORE One L+ supports a wide range of materials including:

PLA, PETG, Flex/TPU, PVA, PC, PP, CPE and PVB

With appropriate filtration, Prusa also supports materials including:

ABS, ASA, HIPS and PA/Nylon.

Optional 400°C HT Hotend

For more demanding applications, the optional HT Hotend Upgrade raises maximum nozzle temperature from 290°C to 400°C.

This expands the platform to high-performance materials such as:

  • PEKK-CF
  • PPS-CF
  • PPSU
  • PPA-CF

The combination of a 400°C hotend and 60°C chamber makes the CORE One L+ particularly well suited to serious engineering applications.

Excellent Flexible Filament Performance

Flexible materials can be difficult to feed through long filament paths.

The direct-drive Nextruder includes a dedicated Flex loading mode, making the CORE One L+ suitable for TPU parts such as seals, bumpers, vibration absorbers, protective components and flexible prototypes.

Included 1080p Night Vision Camera

A detachable 1080p camera with night vision is included.

Use it with Prusa Connect or the Prusa App to remotely monitor prints and create timelapses, or leave it disconnected when camera-free operation is preferred.

Ready for Multi-Material INDX

The CORE One L+ is designed for a future upgrade to Prusa's INDX toolchanging system, developed with Bondtech.

INDX supports up to 8 colours or materials, rapidly changing tools while generating very little material waste compared with purge-based multi-material systems.

Offline Operation and Privacy

An internet connection is completely optional.

The CORE One L+ can be configured, sliced for, operated and updated without cloud connectivity. Printing can be performed using USB or a local network, and the Wi-Fi module can be physically removed for environments with strict security requirements.

Open and Repairable

The CORE One L+ follows Prusa's open and repairable hardware philosophy.

CAD files are published, firmware source code is available, and major components can be mechanically disassembled rather than being permanently glued together. This makes maintenance, repair and future modification considerably easier.
