It's tough to order lead screws from Aliexpress, eBay, Gearbest, etc because you never really know what you're going to get. it was described perfectly here an it's what I ordered. It didn't get shipped in a tube but then again I ordered a bunch of stuff and it was all in a larger box. It was double wrapped in bubble wrap and it was perfectly straight.

One of the nuts has a poor finish quality and had some gunk inside the threads and needed to be cleaned out with a pick before it could be threaded onto the lead screw. After cleaning it and running it up and down the screw with some lubricant a few times it's working fine.
