Our expanded Matte PLA collection includes Black, Dark Blue, Brown, Green, Dark Grey, Orange, Magenta, Purple, Red, White and Yellow. Every colour is available as a lower-waste reSpool3D refill, while Matte Black and Matte White are also available on traditional 1 kg spools.

reSpool3D Filament Refills

reSpool3D refills reduce unnecessary spool waste while providing the same Spool3D Matte PLA filament and print performance. Each refill contains 1 kg of filament and must be installed onto a compatible reusable spool before printing.

Refills are compatible with Spool3D reusable spools, Bambu Lab reusable spools, or a compatible reusable spool that you print yourself.

Tips for Achieving the Best Matte Finish

• Experiment within the recommended nozzle-temperature range to balance surface finish and layer adhesion.
• Lower nozzle temperatures can sometimes increase the matte appearance, but temperatures that are too low may reduce layer bonding.
• Print speed, layer height and extrusion rate can influence the final level of gloss.
• Ensure your print bed is level for good first-layer adhesion.
• Use part cooling for detailed features, bridges and overhangs when appropriate.
• Store Matte PLA in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and keep it sealed with desiccant when not in use.
