The Phaetus DXC Extruder Filament Sensor is a replacement service component designed to restore reliable filament detection in compatible Phaetus DXC extruders. The sensor monitors the filament path and allows the extruder’s detection system to recognize whether filament is present, helping the printer respond to filament runout before a print is lost. Replace a damaged, worn, or unresponsive sensor when the extruder fails to detect loaded filament, incorrectly reports a runout condition, or experiences intermittent detection problems. Supplied as one replacement sensor, this component allows the filament-monitoring system to be repaired without replacing the complete DXC extruder assembly.
