V6 nozzles are designed for use with the E3D V6 heater block. Modify your HotEnd to be able to print with small nozzle orifices to achieve fine details or larger nozzle orifice sizes for more substantial, stronger prints. 1.75mm Brass V6 nozzles are fully compatible with the Prusa 3D printers.
Please note - V6 nozzles are not compatible with Volcano, SuperVolcano or Cyclops heater blocks.
Hardened Steel
Hardened steel nozzles are good utility nozzles, suitable for abrasive filaments such as wood fills, glitter fills and metal fills. Even glow-in-the-dark filaments will abrade brass so our Hardened Steel nozzles are a great, lower-cost option when you can’t stretch to a Nozzle X. Rated to a maximum temperature of 500°C. Please note this nozzle is not suitable for printing abrasive filaments at temperatures above 350°C.
E3D nozzles are identifiable with markings on the flats of the hex head, please see the table below for identification.
Package contents:
- 1 hardened steel nozzle for E3D 1.75mm filament hotend (0.25mm, 0.3mm, 0.35mm, 0.4mm, 0.5mm, or 0.8mm)
Buy E3D v6 hardened steel printer nozzles in Canada without the surprise cost of the exchange rate!

Steel Nozzle is Fantastic!
I recently read that STEEL nozzles are better suited for making "food safe" items, as opposed to brass nozzles. I changed mine out and it is fantastic. The other UP-side is that the steel nozzle won't wear out as rapidly as bronze nozzles when using my marble or metallic filmants.

Does the Job
Wanted to mess around with Carbon PLA and didn’t want to change my nozzle over and over. This does the job and now I won’t have to worry. A couple things to note, this fit my MP Mini V2 perfectly, it does seem to need a 10-20 degree heat increase as many articles say, and plastics stick to the nozzle more than the brass seems to do.

For abrasive materials.
Hardened steel is for abrasive filaments. Stainless steel is for food safe filaments because brass contains lead. This is the one you need to print glow in the dark, carbon fiber, metalfil, stonefil, etc.
