The Bambu Lab 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter II Filament Cleaning Pads are genuine OEM replacement inserts for the cleaning system built into the 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter II. Installed at the filament outlet of the adapter, each pad removes dust, loose particles, and filament debris before the material continues toward the printer toolhead.
Keeping the filament path clean helps reduce the amount of debris entering the PTFE tubing and toolhead, where contamination can contribute to increased friction or extrusion clogs. Bambu Lab recommends periodically inspecting and cleaning the pad and replacing it when significant wear becomes visible.
Genuine Bambu Lab part FAC224 includes 10 replacement cleaning pads for the 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter II.
Overview
The Filament Cleaning Pad of 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter II is installed at the filament outlet of the 4-in-1 PTFE adapter. Its main function is to block debris on the filament at the cleaning pad side, allowing the debris to be discharged through the debris outlet on the tube expansion port. Please replace the cleaning pad when it shows obvious wear.
