This product is used to dissolve Aquasol 3D Printer Support Filament.

Sol-120 is developed for dissolving the Aquasol-120 support material. It is dissolved in tap water to prepare a low-concentration alkaline solution, which can completely dissolve the support material at a certain temperature. The waste solution should be treated according to local regulations.

The dissolution rate is greatly affected by temperature and circulation, so it is necessary to keep water circulation and heating during the process. Please refer to the operating instructions for the correct use of Sol-120.

Preparations:

Although the danger of Sol-120 products is very low, we still ask you to follow the attached safety data sheet to ensure safe use. Please wear appropriate protective gloves (disposable or latex gloves), goggles
and masks before using Sol-120 products.

This product is used with Aquasol-120 support material, and it can be dissolved at 50-60℃. Please confirm the softening point of your model material before dissolving, to prevent deformation of your printed part
during the process. Aquasol-120 shows very good adhesion to PA, PC, ABS, PETG, ASA and their composite materials, and can be used to prevent delamination of the printed model.

In order to reduce the dissolution time, you can also use some tools to remove parts of the supporting structure. Please wear protective gloves during the operation to avoid cuts.

Steps:

1. First fill the container with tap water, then dissolve 200g Sol-120 in 3.8 liters of tap water (5%). Do not put the powder in the empty container. Note: 400g Aquasol-120 can be dissolved in 1kg Sol-120.
2. Heat the Sol-120 solution with warm water bath to 60℃
3. Put your printing model into the 60℃ Sol-120 solution.
4. The needed time is different, depended on the size of your model. To speed up the dissolving, you should keep stiring the Sol-120 solution.
5. After completely dissolved, take out your model and then wash it in warm water. Dry the part when you finish washing it. 
6. Before discarding the solution, it must be neutralized. 5-10g citric acid for per liter of the solution is recommended 
7. The waste solution should be managed according to local regulations.

Storage:

Store Sol-120 in a closed container to prevent agglomeration and maintain dissolving power.
