Filament Specifications
Temperature ranges are recommended starting points from the existing Spool3D Silk PLA product specifications. Adjust for your printer, hotend, print speed and build surface.
Printing and Storage Tips
- For strong first-layer adhesion, begin with a clean, properly levelled build plate and follow your printer manufacturer’s surface recommendations.
- Fine-tune printing temperature, speed and cooling to balance the desired silk sheen with fine detail and print quality.
- Keep unused filament sealed with desiccant in a cool, dry location. If drying is needed, the existing product guidance specifies approximately 45 °C for 4 hours.

adventurer 4 nozzles
So far all the nozzles I have received work well. They snap in and out of the machine fairly easy, need pliers to pull them out but also needed pliers to get the original one out too. My adventurer 4 seems to like these nozzles so I'll continue to buy them here.

Silk Metallic PLA! So nice!
