Consistently round diameters make this material very easy to work with.  It is an excellent material for a beginner, as it has many of the same properties of ABS with less warping while printing.  HIPS prints can be sanded and is ideal for painting - popular for use in costumes and paintable models.

HIPS filament should be stored in a resealable plastic bag with the dessicant pack provided.
