Disappointed - not suitable for installation on Ender 3

I bought this for my original Ender 3, but it is not compatible.
The bracket attaches ok, but it blocks the end of the track & costs me ~ 20mm of build volume.
The bolt on which the idler pulley is mounted was also too short to put more than a thread or two into the nut.
