My x-axis gantry on my Ender 3 (original) was sagging--this completely solved it. I have never had more reliable prints.
It comes with a "Y" cable so you can use it on your existing motherboard provided your stepper driver can handle double the current.
Only thing to note is the screw does not come greased--you'll need to buy some grease like super-lube otherwise it'll make an awful sound, possibly bind, and definitely wear out quicker.
