The machining and overall feel of this costly hotend does live up to its price. Everything about it looks like no expense was spared. Beautiful machining, thoughtful design, and the convenience of one-handed nozzle changes. I only purchased this because the Bondtech LGX didn't natively support groove mount and I wanted to try using the pair together.

IMHO don't waste your money on a Mosquito, I have an Ender 3 v2 and have been running an all metal Microswiss hotend with a copper heat block and Ti heat break and it had been performing extremely well for close to a year now. I could already print at higher temps pushing 300 deg, I wanted the option to print an even wider variety so I fell in to the nearly magical marketing lure of the Mosquito and bought one along with a PT1000 thermistor and a high temp heater cartridge, and using the HeroMe Gen5 mount on the gantry, and with higher end materials like PolyCarbonate, Carbonfiber, GlassFiber, some PETG... it performs very well and can push a lot of filament through it fast when printing with 1.0mm nozzles, and can easily hit the 450deg mark. BUT... when trying to print with anything softer like TPU, TPE, PLA, PLA pro, PLA+ and some PETG, it will get around 1 or 2 hours in to a print and JAM from heat creep. I've tried different cooling fans to try to mitigate the heatcreep but have had to take the Mosquito off of the printer and clean it out at least 5 times now thanks to heat creep swelling the filament in the heat break and sticking big time to the inside of the heat break, which is enough of a PITA that I'm now considering on going back to my Microswiss as it never had a problem at all with heat creep other than one time, way back shortly after I just got it and started using it. The cooling fan for the hot end crapped out, and with the printer in an enclosure it took another 6hours for it to jam on that occasion. IMHO the only thing the Mosquito has going for it is the ability to do one-handed nozzle changes. Other than that I think it is seriously over hyped and over priced. I may try a different mount and if it works out, Ill change my review but I'm not holding my breath at this point considering the Microswiss was in a similar mount.
