This is an All Metal Hotend Kit for CR-10 Printers.

Micro Swiss All Metal Hotend Kit for CR-10:
This is a drop in All Metal Conversion kit for CR-10 printers. It requires absolutely zero modification to your printer to install. Our uniquely designed cooling block eliminates need for a thermal tube. By not having separate thermal tube inside cooling block, it allows for faster heat dissipation.

Thermal heat break is made from Titanium Alloy to provide excellent thermal isolation between heater and cooling block. Titanium is extremely strong material and offers almost 3x lower thermal conductivity than stainless steel, creating more defined meltzone.

Micro-Swiss All Metal Marvel

5/5
This was the last thing I was going to try to get my CR-10s working properly again after trying to get rid of heat creep that kept melting the filament far too early and clogging the nozzle. It was a vast improvement and was finally solved by directing the air flow from the cooling fan directly over the fins. The all metal construction makes installation much easier. The PTFE tube only needs to be inserted into the top section of the assembly meaning it never comes into contact with any heated areas of the hot end - tube lasts longer without having to be replaced as often due to accumulated heat damage. It was so successful I ordered one for my Ender 6 as well simply because it is a design I trust. Couple it with the Solex nozzles also sold at Spool 3D to get a winning combo that makes printing much more reliable.

microswiss hotend

5/5
Nice kit, far better quality than the OE hotend that came with the printer. Simple install, no issues. My PETG filament is running much smoother now, no blockages so far and consistant extrusion.

Excellent product!

5/5
Well built hot end. Titanium heat break does a good job keeping the heat localized at the hot end. No clogging or retractions issues. I have tuned my end gcode to retract more filament then what comes stock in most slicing software.

micro swiss hotend a piece of crap

1/5
works for about 3 months, then due to heat expansion and contraction, it starts to clog. Becomes useless quickly and makes messes not prints. I would not recommend nor will I ever buy this item again. I have gone back to the Creality hotend and it is working like a dream again.

Works well, but....

3/5
The hotend works well, but it's not with out it's quirks. First of all, it has issue maintaining temperatures over 225c or so, which isn't a deal breaker since I use PLA mostly. I've yet to try a different heater cartridge or upping the supply voltage, so that may help it. Second, it has a super defined and well working heatbreak, which can be a problem when changing filaments since you need to extrude just a little then pull it out quickly. Again, this is a bit of a non issue because you can write a g-code file for this. I'm still going to give this three stars though, since honestly it's a well made product and it hasn't jammed at all compared to the stock hotend.
