E3D high precision heater cartridges feature a rounder cartridge with more consistent diameter and surface quality, ensuring greater surface area contact with the heater block for more reliable heat transfer. With the quick change principle in mind, the high precision heater cartridge uses a Molex Microfit 3.0 connector enabling quick HotEnd changes.

40W FTW

Just swapped from a 12V 30W High Precision heater to a 24V 40W cartridge and oh by was that PID tune different. It heats up so fast, my poor heated bed will never be able to keep up. Going to pump through some large, fast, high flow rate prints to really utilize my excessive build volume.

Great heater cartrige

Heats up fast, stays at temperature even with the volcano block at full speed. Only caveat is the connection between the metal contractors and the ceramic element, they tend to get fragile => manipulate with care (same thing could be said about other cartriges, but this one seems more prone to it)

Best heater I've used

This one heats up FAST. Delivers consistent temperatures at the same times as giving lots of cable to work with and easy connections. Worth the money.
