Creality Sermoon P1 All-in-One Professional 3D Scanner
The Creality Sermoon P1 is a self-contained professional 3D scanner combining single-line, 7-line and 22-cross-line blue laser scanning with dual NIR structured light. Capture detailed components, deep holes, dark surfaces, people and objects up to 4 metres without relying on a separate computer.
With a 6-inch Full HD touchscreen, onboard processing, 24GB RAM, 256GB storage, Wi-Fi 7 and swappable batteries, the Sermoon P1 is built for reverse engineering, inspection, manufacturing, automotive work, art preservation and 3D printing.
All-in-One Professional 3D Scanning
The Creality Sermoon P1 combines a blue multi-line laser system, dual infrared structured light, onboard model-processing hardware and a full touchscreen interface in one portable device.
Powered by an 8-core Qualcomm processor, Adreno 740 GPU and FPGA acceleration, the Sermoon P1 can perform scanning, point-cloud fusion, mesh editing and multi-scan merging directly on the scanner. Work independently in standalone mode or connect to a computer using wired or wireless PC modes.
Four Scanning Technologies in One Device
Choose the scanning mode that best matches your object:
- Single blue laser line: Reaches deep holes and other difficult-to-access areas.
- 7 parallel blue laser lines: Captures fine details and complex surface features.
- 22 cross blue laser lines: Quickly captures the geometry and dimensions of larger parts.
- Dual NIR structured light: Provides fast, marker-free scanning of large objects and the human body.
The hybrid light-source system allows the Sermoon P1 to handle everything from small mechanical parts and coins to sculptures, engines, motorcycles and full-body scans.
High Accuracy and Fine Resolution
Blue laser scanning provides accuracy of up to 0.02mm, with volumetric accuracy of 0.02mm + 0.06mm/m. A selectable resolution of 0.05mm to 2mm makes the Sermoon P1 suitable for detailed reverse engineering, dimensional inspection and reproduction work.
NIR structured-light scanning provides accuracy of up to 0.075mm and is ideal for quickly capturing medium-sized and large objects.
Scan Small Parts and Large Objects
The Sermoon P1 supports a wide scanning range:
- Minimum blue laser scan volume: 5 × 5 × 5mm
- Minimum NIR scan volume: 150 × 150 × 150mm
- Maximum blue laser scan size: up to 4000 × 4000 × 4000mm
- Maximum NIR scan size: up to 2000 × 2000 × 2000mm
This broad range reduces the need for separate scanners for small precision parts and large assemblies.
Scan Black and Metallic Surfaces Without Spray
The blue laser system is designed to capture black and metallic objects without requiring scanning spray in many applications. This simplifies the scanning of wheels, automotive components, machinery and dark plastic parts while reducing preparation and cleanup time.
Built for Outdoor Scanning
Blue laser and NIR structured-light modes provide strong resistance to ambient light for dependable scanning outside or in brightly lit environments.
Supported outdoor lighting levels include:
- Single-line blue laser: below 100,000 lux
- 22-cross-line blue laser: below 100,000 lux
- 7-parallel-line blue laser: below 50,000 lux
- NIR structured light: below 30,000 lux
Innovative Four-Lens Optical System
The Sermoon P1 uses a four-lens design combining high-definition optics for precise blue laser capture with wide-field-of-view lenses for fast, marker-free NIR scanning of larger subjects.
Twelve white LEDs support colour mapping, while twelve blue LEDs enhance marker recognition.
Three Flexible Work Modes
Switch between three operating modes based on your workflow:
- Standalone mode: Scan and process models directly on the Sermoon P1.
- Wireless PC mode: Transfer scan data without a physical connection.
- Wired PC mode: Achieve the scanner’s highest available capture rates.
Maximum blue laser scanning speeds are:
- Standalone mode: up to 60 FPS
- Wireless PC mode: up to 80 FPS
- Wired PC mode: up to 100 FPS
NIR scanning reaches up to 18 FPS in standalone mode and 30 FPS in wired PC mode.
Onboard Scanning and Model Processing
The integrated software supports the complete scanning workflow directly on the device, including:
- Calibration
- 3D scanning
- Point-cloud fusion
- Mesh editing
- Multi-scan merging
- Marker and raw-data management
- Model inspection and viewing
- One-click OTA software updates
A clean touchscreen interface guides the operator from scanning through model creation without requiring a separate workstation.
6-Inch Full HD Touchscreen
The built-in 6-inch Full HD display provides clear scan previews and controls with a wide 160-degree viewing angle. The screen is designed to remain easy to view while scanning outdoors or working around large equipment.
High-Performance Onboard Hardware
The Sermoon P1 contains workstation-class mobile hardware for real-time capture and processing:
- Qualcomm 8-core processor at up to 3.36GHz
- Adreno 740 GPU
- FPGA acceleration
- 24GB LPDDR5X RAM
- 256GB UFS 4.0 storage
- Wi-Fi 7 connectivity
Fast onboard memory and storage help reduce processing latency and improve model-loading and file-transfer performance.
Swappable Dual-Battery Design
Two rechargeable 3300mAh batteries are supplied, with one installed and one included separately. Batteries can be swapped to extend field operation and can also be charged independently through their USB Type-C ports.
A smart power-saving system automatically enters sleep mode when appropriate to conserve battery life.
With 65W PD 3.0 fast charging, a battery can reach approximately 80% charge in 50 minutes.
Portable and Ready for Field Work
The compact, ergonomic body weighs approximately 830g and includes comfortable hand grips for extended scanning sessions.
A protective carrying case provides organized storage for the scanner and its accessories, making the Sermoon P1 suitable for field inspection, automotive work, job sites and mobile scanning services.
