The pneumatic fitting is used on Bowden extruders and hold the teflon tubing which the filament is guided through.  

  • Accepts 4mm OD tubing (tubing CAN go through threaded end [E3D V6 & Volcano 1.75mm version])
  • Thread: M6
  • Used for 1.75 mm filament or 3.00mm depending on PTFE tubing used

    ...for my extruder feed. Original one did not hold tube anymore. This one feel very nice when pushing in the tube and holds it as it should!

    It fits, it holds the Bowden tube in place, and hasn't slipped since I installed it. Can't think of anything else I could ask for.

    I have found that over time the pneumatic fitting at the extruder drive will loosen up from retraction movements. These are quality fittings and it will pay to have a few on hand. Spool3D is always my first choice.
