Print it right with Spool3D ABS 3D printer filament. Known for its high strength, impact resistance, and heat resistance, ABS is a popular choice for engineering prototypes, mechanical parts, and end-use products. Its ability to be post-processed easily, including sanding, painting, and gluing, further expands its versatility.
While ABS requires slightly higher printing temperatures and careful management of warping compared to PLA or PETG, its superior mechanical properties make it ideal for applications where durability and temperature resistance are crucial. Spool3D's ABS filament is manufactured to exacting standards for consistent quality and reliable printing. Available in a range of solid colours, our ABS filament will empower you to create strong and lasting 3D printed objects.

Tips for Printing with ABS:
-
- Use a Heated Bed: A heated bed is crucial for ABS to prevent warping and ensure good adhesion.
- Print in an Enclosure: An enclosure helps to maintain a warm and stable printing environment, reducing temperature gradients that can cause warping and cracking.
- Apply Bed Adhesion Aids: Use materials like glue stick, hairspray, or specialized build plate surfaces to improve first layer adhesion.
- Disable or Reduce Cooling Fan: ABS benefits from slow cooling to minimize internal stresses.
- Increase Brim or Raft: Using a brim or raft can help to increase the surface area in contact with the bed and improve adhesion.
- Ventilation: Ensure good ventilation in your printing area as ABS can emit fumes during printing.
- Store your ABS filament in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight when not in use. Please use the resealable plastic bag with the desiccant pack provided.
Safety:
Ensure proper ventilation when printing with ABS as it can release fumes. Consider using an enclosure with a filter for extended printing sessions.

Great filament
I have had no issues so far, other than because of the diameter of the spools, they don't fit inside the Bambu lab AMS.

ABS
Pretty good ABS filament better than 3dXtech but formfutura is still a bit better. Both Adhesion and warp are a solid 4.5/5

Awesome!!
Started my first voron build today with a printed parts kit from spool 3d, it doesn't have all of the parts required for a LDO 0.2 kit so I picked up a few of theese spools to print the parts I needed. 10/10 printing on my ender 3 v2 in a closed room with a space heater at 105 on the bed and 245 on the hotend!!

ABS review
Great customer service when I was having printer issues, great filament for printer parts. I use a heated enclosure with active cooling.

ABS Filament
I bought the black ABS filament to print out some printer parts like a spool holder. The filament from Spool3D worked great, after I was able to tune in the printer for a different type, i was using the PLA from Spool3D

Doesn’t fit in BambuLab AMS
Good filament! No complaints at all with the quality or printability. This is more of a heads up to anyone who is using a Bambulab printer with the AMS - these spools do not fit, the diameter is slightly too large. Also, the filament refills that they sell are also too wide.

ABS filament
Works well.

ABS filament
Very easy to print, so far no warping at all for me. And the colour is very vibrant,

Great Filament
This is the best ABS I've ever used. I print it on an enclosed cr-10 and prusa i3mk3s. I vapour smooth all of my prints and the spool3d abs smooths the best and doesn't suffer any adverse effects from smoothing like other lower quality manufacturers.

Spool3D ABS - Blue
For context: This purchase was for my 14 - year old son. He got his 3D printer (Ender 3 v2) for Christmas and has been printing pretty regularly, around 4-6 small jobs per week as well as some larger jobs on the weekends. He has used PLA (generic), PLA+ (eSun), PETG (Sigma), and ABS+ (eSun). He liked the ABS+ the most, so I decided to get him some ABS to try. So far he's used about 25% of this roll and every print has been a success, apart from one where he forgot to set his temperatures after printing with PLA. He sets the print bed to 110C and most prints don't need any adhesion (rafts etc) unless they have a very small footprint. The best part is that once the print bed cools to about 60 the print pops off on its own or with minimal effort. In conclusion, we're very pleased with this filament and we think it is a good value for the price. We will definitely be ordering more.
