    Easier than I expected

Posted by Jessica on June 26, 2024

Having never bothered with flexibles in 10+ years of 3d printing, I was expecting this to be super difficult, harder than nylon, etc. Pleasantly surprised when other than having to go slow, my first prints came off my voron 0 looking almost perfect, no calibration prints or anything set my temps to 215/50, 17.5mm/s, and otherwise the same as my abs profile, but doors open on my printer. The biggest issue I had was loading it into my printer, my extruder has a very hard time getting grip on this filament, its like teflon, I noticed it would under extrude if i forced it to unroll the spool itself, so I unraveled a bit at a time to prevent this, but I'll probably need to find a way to increase the exturders bite at some point.

    Great value tpu

Great stuff, very affordable compared to other brands. Zero problems thru direct drive, I can't see it working well with a bowden setup, but that's flexible filament limitations.

    Wet TPU?

Posted by Peter on February 27, 2023

TPU came well packaged and with a separate resealable bag. But the TPU printed wet. After two days in my filament dryer if started printing ok. Just a little softer than I usually like. Its ok material at a decent price and its well packaged.

    Need direct drive extruder

Posted by Bryce on February 23, 2023

Material is great...just make sure you have a direct drive extruder because almost impossible to get settings right with a Bowden tube extruder.

    Tpu won't load

Posted by Doug Teramoto on January 13, 2022

Nice soft product, but will not feed in boden type printers, direct drive possibly but with my Flashforge AD3 this filament would kink every attempt.

    Great material

This material is easy to work with right out of the box with minimal adjustments to my settings. Look forward to trying out more colors.

Posted by Doug on May 28, 2020

The spool3d tpu filament works great, prints nice with no enclosure only troubles I had was actually getting it loaded into my direct drive titan and into the ptfe in my hotend, but that's not the filaments problem lol. Thanks again
