Vertical Fine Artifacts (VFAs) be GONE!
I have installed one of these as the Y-axis motor both in my CR6-SE and my Ender 3. There is a small noise penalty to doing so, with the motor spinning at twice the speed of the 1.8 deg motor, but I find that a negligible cost to see those VFAs disappear. Caution - the Ender 3 actually needed a 34mm motor. This one fouls the bed carrier plate. I had to move the end stop switch forward and sacrifice a bit of build volume to use this one. Still worth it, but a wiser shopper would probably buy the 34mm stepper instead. ;)

40mm Nema17
Just got these S3D-09-NEMA17-40 stepper motors in from Spool3D. I got these to replace my under powered 34mm NEMA17 motors. Now I would like to know why the pin out of these motors are not standard. 1-3, 4-6 normal phase connections. These steppers come wired 1-4, 3-6. If you replace your printers wires with the ones that come with the motors, you are golden. But I really don't want to strip out my wiring and replace them. So I have to take the ends apart and rewire them to match the motor phases. Just something to look out for whenever you replace any stepper motor. Other then that these motors work great! You get 0.9 deg smooth running motors at a great price. Yet to see how they hold up to my 24/7 printing.
