This bowden extruder will allow your 3D printer to print faster or to achieve even better surface quality.

Adjustable tension
The thumbscrew tensioner allows the user to fine-tune the pressure exerted by the drive gears onto the filament. This gives you the power to adjust according to your preferences and to optimize for the type of material you are using.

Quick-Release
To be able to do material changes in a snap, simply activate the Quick-Release lever to release the tension and pull the material to be changed out of the extruder, keep it activated and insert the new material.

More choice of materials
The hardened steel Dual Drive gears allow you to work with common and abrasive materials.

Prusa MINI Bonftech Extruder Upgrade

What a wonderful item! I was somewhat skeptical but after reading a number of reviews on the Prusa MINI Facebook Group page and reading the detailed specifications from Bondtech, I was "sold". Great item with its twin geared drive. No more "clicking" and de-burring of filament. And the best part? The tension spring adjuster is really easily accessible -- unlike the awkward and "buried" tensioner on the Prusa MINI extruder. BONUS -- even with shipping by Priority Mail in Canada, the TOTAL cost was less than ordering directly from Bondtech in Sweden.

BuildTak Spatula

WOW! This item is a PERFECT solution to get those prints off the steel sheet of my 3D printer! A little pricey, perhaps, but it works beautifully! No more trying to pick at stuff with fingernails and razor blades.
