Stepper motor damper
Working as advertised. Big reduction in vibration transmission to frame. Should have installed these a long time ago.

Significantly quieter CR-10S
Adding dampeners to my X and Y stepper motors made my CR-10S significantly quieter, there have now been times with headphones on that I have wondered if my printer has failed and stopped printing while I'm working in the same room, just because I can't hear it at all! Fans still produce significant noise but that's a project for a different day. Note: I had some trouble removing the factory screws holding my Y motor in place, the socket stripped quite easily so my allen keys could not turn and loosen them. I had to gouge a slot into the screws with my dremel and use a flathead screwdriver to remove them. If you get those screws out, replace them with higher quality M3 screws so you don't have the same trouble!

Stepper Motor Damper - NEMA17
So far I've installed these vibration dampers on the x and y axis steppers on a D9-300 and was pleased to notice a significant reduction in machine noise while printing.

A Must Have Upgrade
I bought a set of these for my CR-10 and they reduced the noise produced by the steppers by lose to 90%. Now it’s whisper quiet. If you are going to buy these for a CR-10 it should be noted that they don’t come with enough screws to install 2.

So much quieter
Put these on and the printer is quiet. If not for the fans, it would be hard to know it's on.
