    Needs way too mich voltage

Posted by Joe on May 07, 2023

I pcied these up a while back and things started out fine. Then the layer shifting started, and got worse. Prints would do fine IF you slowed it down to below 70% speed. Was told to up the Vref voltage as these like a lot of voltage (more than 2 volts). Made it through 3 or 4 prints then it fried the board. New board installed and it layer shifts worse than ever. Now I am looking for new steppers again.

    Nema17 motor

Posted by Anis on December 06, 2021

This motor burned two of my board drivers. Bought it as a drop in replacement of my old motor. Ended up loosing two of my duet board drivers. Reached out to spool 3d, never got an answer.
