The Bondtech BMG extruder combines high performance and resolution with low weight. Together with our proven and highly celebrated Dual-Drive technology you can expect problem free material feeding.

The BMG works in both bowden and direct driven applications. Built in fitting for the E3D hotend and fits nema17 stepper motors.

The housing parts are professionally SLS printed in nylon for maximum strength and precision.

This extruder only supports 1.75 mm size filament.

The Bondtech BMG utilizes an internal gearing ratio of 3:1 together with precision cnc-machined hardened steel drive gears to give you a compact powerhouse for all your applications. Whether you require high resolution prints with small nozzles or high-flow prints with big nozzles the optimized gearing ratio combined with our industry leading drive gears provides unparalleled pushing power and lightning fast retractions in a lightweight and compact package.

Bondtech Dual-Drive
Our unique Dual-Drive technology delivers uninterrupted material flow without fear of grinding or slipping in even the most demanding conditions. Bondtech users the world over will attest that even in prints with thousands of retracts our extruders perform flawless, with unmatched precision, and zero damage or degradation to the filament.

Multi-material capability
Our BMG extruder feeds all material with high reliability, from slippery nylons and soft TPU/TPE filaments to highly rigid and sometimes brittle carbon-filled high-strength materials. The extruder is designed for 1.75 mm filaments, but has been tested to ensure performance of filament from 1.5mm up to 2.0mm allowing for high reliability regardless of the tolerance of the filament used. The filament path is fully guided throughout the extruder body and the housing maintains tight tolerances to the drive gears mitigating the chances of Filament Misfeed when the hotend experiences increased backpressure or highly flexible filaments are used.

Adjustable tension
The thumbscrew tensioner allows the user to fine-tune the pressure exerted by the drive gears onto the filament. This gives you the power to adjust according to your preferences and to optimize for the type of material you are using.

Quick-Release
To be able to do material changes in a snap, simply activate the Quick-Release lever to release the tension and pull the material to be changed out of the extruder, keep it activated and insert the new material.

Multi-application design
This extruder can be used in a Bowden or direct setups and gives you the flexibility to choose what works best for your application. In addition it features an integrated hotend retention method compatible with the E3D-V6 hotends or others using the GrooveMount standard. Mounting your hotend is simple, secure, and wobble free by means of just two bolts.

Flexible mounting options
Bondtech has designed a standard mounting bracket, both in CNC and as a 3D printable part that you can download from our stl-archive for free. Bondtech's standard mount is CNC-machined in 3 mm aluminum for maximum stability. Please see below for available mounts.

The extruder fits any Nema17 stepper motor with a standard 5 mm shaft. For suitable stepper motors, please select one of the below or use your own motor.

This extruder is sold without motor.

BMG

5/5
I use this on all my printers... bit expensive but clones are just a hassle in the long run and this thing wrangles filament like nothing else. Bonus, lots of mods out there for converting this into direct drive use.

Bondtech - BMG Extruder

5/5
I used to use a clone of this one. The clone is not good at all. The original has way tighter tolerances. Don't waste your time on clone products. Get the original Bondtech.

BMG worth it!

5/5
My printers came with a Titan clone extruder, they weren't bad in the beginning however I have had to rebuild them several times with new bearings over the past year. I have noticed over the last couple of months my print quality has been getting worse and after a process of elimination determined it was the extruders (I guess they call it moire artifacts). Put this BMG extruder on the one machine and my print quality is back to 100%! The build quality of this extruder is top notch, I'm happy with my purchase and now need to buy another.

BMG Extruder

5/5
My Titan clone started skipping quite badly so while looking for a replacement I came across this extruder. Decided to go for legit manufacturer instead of another clone and wasn't disappointed. Even with filaments that have terrible tolerances this thing just keeps pulling them through the PTFE tube without a care in the world. No grinding to dust or clicking.... it's also super quiet compared to a Titan when it comes to retractions. I see a noticeable improvement in my layers where before I'd get occasional under/over extrusion now everything is even and near flawless.

Bondtech BMG best extruder upgrade

5/5
Replaced the stock extruder on my Anycubic Chiron with the genuine Bondtech Dual Drive extruder. One of the best upgrades for my machine. No slippage and it runs rock steady. Definitely would recommend this for any machine that is not running a dual drive extruder.
