2040 Aluminum Extrusion

What can I say? Spool3d has always had fast shipping and decent prices. I've spent so much extra just to get the free shipping though....

Product is as described. It was super convenient that I was able to have the pieces cut to measurement before shipping. It saved me having to find some place to get it cut. Was kind of a hassle to find that there were metal cuttings in the box and extrusion.

The extrusion was of great quality but the packaging still had metal pieces left over from when they made it

Ordered 3 time the 2040x1M with about 8 cuts. They were performed perfectly and received the product promptly. One of the rod was bumped (probably at the shop because the packaging was in good shape). The rod was bent a little but it's no problem for me. I am able to build around it and hide the imperfection. It is bumped to the point that I can't slide a tnut on that side. One thing that really bugged me is that the 2040 extrusion is supposed to be Profile EU Standard. The diameter of the center hole isn't 4.2mm like the EU Standard. It is 4.8mm. This is a major concern for me since everything on my design used M5. The hole is way too big to use M5 now and I have to tap with a larger one.
