The Rapid product range is designed for low powered LED DLP type printers such as the Wanhao Duplicator 7. The cure speed is up to 4 X faster than their standard resin. The transparent appearance allows you to see internal features & structures that would be useful for research, prototyping and engineering parts.

All Monocure 3D resins have a very wide range of reactivity, UV wavelengths of 225nm to wavelengths of 420nm. By incorporating a blend of photo-initiators, monomers & sensitizers, almost any UV light source can be used to initiate the polymerisation process of their resins.

Resins have been tested with a 'Shore D Hardness Durometer' and have a rating of 70. (A hard hat has a rating of 80)

The Viscosity of their resin is 500 - 600cps @ 25°C (Brookfield RVT).

All resins have a low odour, have zero VOC emissions and display very low shrinkage properties <0.5%>

Please store Monocure 3D resin in a dark, cool place out of direct sunlight.

Monocure Rapid Resin

5/5
I've foudn this to be dimensionally accurate, consistent and VERY easy to clean and post-process. If you buy it in bulk, its the same price as the cheap-o stuff. This is my resin of choice!

Works great with the Prusa SL1

5/5
This resin is great with the Prusa SL1 resin printer. It is actually ticker than Prusa own resin and does not feel as consistent. However, it almost always produce great result.

Good resin with few issues.

5/5
Bought the Monocure starter pack and have been using the Rapid Grey resin. First print failed do to incorrect settings (I used a community-determined baseline), but after switching to the Monocure recommended settings for Anycubic Photon I've had no failed prints. Odour is moderate but the Monocure RESINAWAY smells way more. Surface finish is nice and supports break off easily. I've noticed a lot of stress-marks from clipping off support connections to the model but that's because I am not using sidecutters designed for plastic models (google "Godhand"). Overall very happy and would buy again.

Barely Passable

2/5
I’ve tried different variations of the print profile in my preferred slicer and have only ever had decent recents with very heavy prints, like 3/4” to 1” solid objects that needed sanding afterwards any way. For the vast majority of prints I’ve done, this resin has been subpar at best. Would have a lot of trouble recommending unless the part requires post processing any way.

Barely Passable. 7 days of printing and tweaking with more fails than I've ever had.

2/5
Pros- really quick for curing little to no smell and odoe cons- constant failures end up getting particulates of cured resin floating around I've been tweaking my settings for the past week to get things to print properly and I am still having issue. I have used monocure before but I've never had this many failures. I would recommend a different color.

Easy to use, good result, good price

I have been using the resin with the anycubic photon and it worked well, but it took some getting used to it. You will need some tweaking to your print setting and it will take a little longer to print, but in the end, the result is very good.
