Wish I had upgraded to a duet sooner

5/5
I blew one of the stepper drivers on my printer's original RAMBo board, and I decided to take the opportunity to upgrade. I sure wish I had done it sooner, because this board is fantastic! Much quieter motors, smoother motion without any stalls, the surface finish of the prints is better, and small holes are much closer to proper size! It takes some patience and work to retrofit into a printer, but absolutely worth it. Definitely recommend.

Why don't they give you a basic manual with standard instructions rather than guessing from reprap and still find nothing that will work. I'm dreaming that YouTube videos will help and get this WiFi running right. Chris

Awesome hardware and support

5/5
I've owned my Duet2 Wifi and PanelDue7 hardware for a few months. In that time, I've received incredible support by Spool3D and great support in the official Duet3D forums. I'll be purchasing another Duet3D board as well as many other components from Spool3D soon.

Best 3D Printer controller you cna buy

5/5
I could not be happier with the Duet2 WiFi controller board and PanelDue 7 combo. My printer so silent the PSU fan is the only thing I hear running even when all my axis's are going. The granular precision on the printers movement is also very apparent . This board is amazing.

Amazing Upgrade

5/5
I have an Anet A6 that I have rebuilt and swapped out almost every part on. I bought this board so that I could swap out the mainboard and try the new stepper drivers and I have been blown away by the difference this has made. The BLTouch is working better than ever, and I am now able to consistently get good bed compensation, I was able to split my two Z-motors to independent drivers, and now my x-axis is actually level(yay for autolevelling), whereas before even with a counterweight on the far side it would shift out of balance after almost every print. But the thing that has blown me away the most is how much nicer the extrusion is. My surface finish is far smoother than I was ever able to achieve with the stock anet board running the most recent version of Marlin. I had tried swapping out hotends to the E3d Volcano and using the Titan extruder in both direct drive and Bowden mountings, and there was always a lot of stringing. Now I can finally get clean finishes, with virtually no stringing. Oh and I am actually able to print way faster too because now I can control the current being sent to the motors, which alloed me to eliminate a y-axis slipping problem that had been plaguing me from day 1. Oh yeah, and there are now enough inputs that I can run a filament sensor and a BLTouch. The web interface is pretty nice too, I miss a few things from my octopi, but so far the tradeoffs have been worth it by a mile. I really like this board, and I will definitely be using it for the custom coreXY build I've been planning.
